ABOUT ARTILLERY
First,we serve.
More than aname.
In 2006, John Wooten came home from the Marine Corps and started building websites. The name came from what he knew. Artillery: a means of persuasion. That’s still what we build.
John met Jake on a tour bus in 2011. Music was their first shared obsession, but another was quickly born: using strategic design to solve real problems for real people.
Together we’ve built a team, a process, and a reputation that now spans 500+ websites and 215+ five-star reviews. Between our team, we’ve seen every flavor of website problem.
We get it. And we know how to fix it.
Why We’re Successful
We've spent years building a process that's clear, documented, and genuinely easy for clients to move through. You always know what's happening next. And we're reachable! Email us. You will get a timely reply in 24 hours or less.
We do a lot of websites with a small team.
That’s not an accident.
Great communication and a great process. That’s the formula that has led to 500+ businesses trusting us with their website and brand.

Meetthe ARTILLERYteam
John Wooten
John started Artillery Media in 2006. After touring full-time as a musician and serving in the Marines, he eventually settled down and started building ARTILLERY not only as a custom web design firm, but also as a birthplace for creativity in the heart of the Midwest: Lincoln, Nebraska. He loves talking entrepreneurship and everything drums. More about John
Jake Kramer
Jake runs strategy, sales, client relationships, and even a few WordPress builds if we’re slammed. He holds a marketing degree from UNL with a minor in violin, which is probably why he treats every project like a composition. When he’s not on a strategy call, you’ll find him on the basketball court, on the road with a fiddle or guitar, or co-hosting: Slow & Steady — A Podcast by ARTILLERY. More about Jake
Haley Kramer
Haley is the glue that holds every project together. The one making sure everyone knows what’s coming and nothing gets missed. At home, life is happily full: two boys, one dog, good workouts, fresh-baked treats, and the occasional (very satisfying) decluttering spree.
Clara Kramer
Clara is your first call after launch and beyond. She handles hosting, maintenance, training, and any question you might have about your site. She’s genuinely good at making the technical stuff feel easy.
Sierra Beukelman
Sierra turns abstract concepts and ideas into visuals that actually feel like you. She obsesses over typography and color palettes on the daily, and hand crafts logos, brand systems, and websites. Nothing brings her more joy than seeing a beautiful brand come to life.
Liam Oleson
Liam has loved technology since he was a kid — now he channels that into building and
designing websites. Clean work, no fuss.
Amani Kirk
She brings a detail-oriented approach and a thoughtful eye for design to her work, helping with everything from creative projects to behind-the-scenes tasks that keep things moving. She’s currently an interior design student entering her senior year at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, long walks, trying the newest food or coffee spots, and reorganizing just about anything.
Gracia Vampola
Gracia keeps every project on track and every client in the loop – she loves people, and it shows in how she works. Organized to the core, she makes sure nothing slips through the cracks. Outside of work, you can find her competing in golf or pickleball with her husband, spending time with family and friends, planning her next trip, or hunting down the next great coffee shop or food spot.
Brittany Downey
Brittany believes messaging is the foundation of your website. She digs into how your business impacts your clients — then helps you say it clearly. She runs DowneyStrategy.com and partners with ARTILLERY on projects that need deeper copy work.
