Ownership

You own your domain. We may register your domain on your behalf or help you transfer it — but it’s yours. If you ever move on, your domain goes with you.

You own your website. You own your site and all of its content (text, images, media). If you ever decide to work with a different provider, we’ll help transfer your site. That said, all custom designs are the intellectual property of ARTILLERY and may not be sold, redistributed, or given away. We ask that you respect the work we put into your project.

Footer credit. We include a small footer link indicating your site was designed, built, and/or maintained by ARTILLERY. We’re proud of the work we do. If you’d prefer this not be included, just let us know.

Support

Managed Hosting Plans. We offer three managed hosting plans: Startup, Growth, and Prime. Each plan includes hosting, daily WordPress and plugin updates, daily backups, security monitoring, uptime monitoring, IP blocking, and spam filtering.

• Startup: Hosting and maintenance only. No support hours included.
• Growth: Includes 1 hour of content or technical support per month.
• Prime: Includes 5 hours of content or technical support per month.

Support hours do not roll over if unused at the end of your monthly billing cycle.

Hourly support rate. Our standard hourly rate is $200/hr. Active hosting clients receive a 50% discount at $100/hr.

Response time. Please allow one business day on all support requests. Submit tickets at artillerymedia.com/support.

Warranty

Websites built by ARTILLERY are sold “as is.” ARTILLERY hereby disclaims warranties of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. ARTILLERY does not warrant that the site will be error-free or that access will be continuous or uninterrupted.

By hiring ARTILLERY to build your website, you do so at your own discretion and risk. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ARTILLERY, its contractors, and respective directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims and expenses, including attorneys’ fees, arising out of your use of the site.

ARTILLERY is not responsible for any conflicts resulting from WordPress updates, Divi updates, or third-party plugin updates.

Devices and Browsers

ARTILLERY optimizes and supports website builds for the latest versions of Safari, Firefox, and Google Chrome. Mobile optimization targets iPhone 6 and newer (4.7-inch screen size and above).

Project Deposits and Payment

A 50% deposit is required before any project work begins. The remaining balance is due within the timeframe listed in your proposal or upon project completion, whichever comes first. We will always aim to deliver within the timeline provided.

Revisions

Design phase. All projects include up to 2 rounds of revisions per wireframe during the design phase. Once a wireframe is approved, development begins. Additional wireframe changes requested after approval will incur an additional fee.

Custom design projects include up to 2 rounds of revisions per page mockup during the design phase. Once final designs are approved, development begins. Additional design changes after approval will incur an additional fee.

Development phase. One round of technical revisions is included after development is complete to verify there are no bugs, links are correct, and the site was built as designed.

Hosting

If you choose to decline ARTILLERY managed hosting, you agree and understand:

• You are the full owner of the site and take on all responsibilities that entails.
• You forfeit your 50% hosting discount and expedited response for the ARTILLERY support portal.
• You take full liability for any security breaches, hacks, and information leaks.
• You are responsible for making backups, monitoring security, and managing all ongoing site functionality.
• You understand that WordPress, plugins, and other software require frequent updates and backups. Failure to maintain these updates may result in security breaches, downtime, or site damage.
• You release ARTILLERY from any and all liability related to this website.
• Ongoing hourly work is available from ARTILLERY at $200/hr.

Pricing and Fees

No hidden fees. We’re straightforward about what things cost. If a project requires additional functionality with associated costs, we will outline and present those for approval before any additional work begins.

Billing

Invoices are due net 30 days. If a hosting client is 3 or more months behind on their plan, ARTILLERY reserves the right to take the website offline until all overdue invoices are paid. Upon full payment, the site will be restored.

Cancellation

Managed Hosting Plans. All plans are billed on a recurring monthly basis and may be canceled at any time with 30 days’ written notice by either party. If you need help transferring your site to another host, additional fees will apply and a quote will be provided at that time. Once your remaining balance is processed and your new host has received all necessary information, your account will be closed with no further obligation.

Monthly fees are non-refundable. Your monthly fee covers both visible support and behind-the-scenes maintenance: WordPress updates, plugin updates, backups, and security monitoring performed throughout the month.

Initial deposits and setup fees are non-refundable. These cover setup costs, time spent, and any design or development resources purchased for your project.

Hosting payments are non-refundable. We do not offer refunds or prorated refunds for hosting services.

Communication

By contacting ARTILLERY, you elect to opt in to future communication from our team related to our products, services, and best practices. You may opt out at any time.

ARTILLERY reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
