FAQ
Pricing andcost.
How much does a website cost?
It depends on scope, but here’s a starting point:
- Premium WordPress Website: starts around $2,500. Proven. Handcrafted on our battle-tested framework, shaped to your brand.
- Signature WordPress Website: starts around $5,000. Bespoke. A senior designer builds your site from a blank page: wireframe, style tile, full custom mockup, then the build.
- Branding: $2,000 (Simple) to $3,500 (Full). Custom logo, color palette, typography, and brand guide.
- AI Copywriting (Project CORE): $2,000 for home page plus various interior pages.
- Managed Hosting: $69/mo, $99/mo, or $199/mo depending on your plan.
Every proposal is fully itemized. You’ll know exactly what you’re getting and what it costs before anything starts. No surprises. Tell us about your project and we’ll send you a clear proposal.
What's included in your website design packages?
Both packages include:
- Strategy questionnaire and discovery call
- Home page wireframe and style tile
- Interior pages designed around your content
- WordPress + Divi build
- Mobile-responsive design
- Menu and footer design
- Project management throughout
- Launch support (DNS, SSL, redirects, speed optimization)
- Training videos after launch
Signature adds a full custom mockup you approve before we build, a design system built from scratch, and a third round of revisions. Premium moves faster: after your style tile, your first review is your actual homepage, built on our battle-tested framework.
Optional add-ons: branding, copywriting, speed optimization, Google Search Console setup, and AI tools. Everything is itemized in your proposal.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. We collect a deposit to start the project, with remaining payments tied to project milestones. We’ll outline the payment schedule in your proposal so there are no surprises.
Timeline andprocess.
How long does it take to build a website?
Most projects take 6-10 weeks from kickoff to launch. The biggest variable is content … if your copy, photos, and branding are ready, we move faster. If we’re handling branding and copywriting too, add 3-5 weeks for those phases.
We work on a set timeline with clear milestones. You’ll always know where your project stands. See our full process.
What's your design process from start to finish?
Six phases:
- Strategy: questionnaire, discovery call, site outline
- Branding: moodboard, logo concepts, brand guide (if needed)
- Copywriting: you write it, we write it with AI, or we connect you with a professional copywriter
- Design: wireframe, style tile, full mockup
- Development: build, edits, testing, launch
- Post Launch: training, hosting, ongoing support
Every phase has a clear deliverable. You review and approve before we move forward. See our full process.
What do you need from me to get started?
To kick off a project, we need:
- Your completed strategy questionnaire (we send you the link)
- A discovery call with Jake (30 minutes)
- Your content … either you write it, we write it, or we bring in a copywriter
- Photos and logos (if you have them; if not, we can help)
That’s it. We handle the rest. Most clients are surprised by how little they have to do.
Technicaldetails.
What platform do you build on?
WordPress with Divi. Every site we build runs on WordPress, which powers over 43% of all websites on the internet. Divi is our design framework … it gives us full creative control while keeping your site easy to update after launch.
We’ve built over 500 sites on this stack. It’s reliable, flexible, and battle-tested.
Will my website be mobile-friendly?
Yes. Every site we build is fully responsive, meaning it adapts to phones, tablets, and desktops automatically. We test across browsers and devices before launch. With most web traffic now coming from mobile, this isn’t optional … it’s standard.
Will I be able to update the website myself?
Yes. After launch, we record custom training videos showing you how to update text, swap images, add blog posts, and make basic changes. If you ever forget, the videos are always there. And if you’d rather not touch it, our Growth and Prime hosting plans include support hours where Clara handles changes for you. See hosting plans.
Will my website be optimized for search engines?
Yes. Every page is built with SEO fundamentals: proper H1/H2/H3 structure, keyword-informed copy, meta titles and descriptions, image alt text, clean URLs, and fast load times. If you add our AI copywriting package, each page is written with primary and secondary keyword targets mapped to search intent.
We’re not an SEO agency … we don’t run ongoing SEO campaigns or manage paid ads. But we build the foundation so your site has the best chance to rank. For ongoing SEO, we can refer you to a specialist.
Do you provide hosting and domain registration?
We provide managed hosting through our own plans (Startup, Growth, and Prime). Your site is hosted on fast, secure servers with daily backups, daily updates, and 99% guaranteed uptime. See hosting plans.
For domain registration, we recommend you own your domain directly through a registrar like GoDaddy, Namecheap, or Google Domains. We’ll help you point it to your new site at launch. Your domain stays yours … we don’t hold anything hostage.
Afterlaunch.
Do you offer website maintenance after launch?
Yes. That’s what our managed hosting plans are built for. Every plan includes daily WordPress and plugin updates, daily backups, security monitoring, IP blocking, and spam filtering. Our Growth plan adds 1 hour/month of content or technical support. Our Prime plan includes 5 hours/month … so you never need to log in at all. See hosting plans.
What happens if something breaks on my website?
You submit a ticket on our support page. Clara and the support team will diagnose and fix it. If it’s a hosting or security issue, we’re often on it before you notice. We run daily backups, so if something goes seriously wrong, we can restore your site to exactly where it was.
None of our maintained sites have ever been hacked. Not one.
Will you train me on how to use my new website?
Yes. After launch, we record custom tutorial videos for your specific site. You’ll learn how to update text, swap images, add pages, and manage your blog. The videos live in your Basecamp project so you can rewatch them anytime.
If you’re on our Growth or Prime hosting plan, you can also send change requests directly to our support team and we’ll handle it for you.
Our work andexperience.

Yes. Head to our portfolio page to see recent projects. We’ve built over 500 websites across healthcare, construction, professional services, nonprofits, sports, creative industries, and more. Each project page shows the site and the story behind it.
Do you have experience in my industry?
Probably. Here’s where our work breaks down by industry:
- Healthcare & Wellness (28%)
- Construction, Industrial & Home Services (17%)
- Professional Services & Consulting (16%)
- Nonprofit, Education & Community (12%)
- Sports & NIL Collectives (8%)
- Creative & Media (7%)
- Real Estate & Property (7%)
- Agriculture & Environmental (6%)
- Retail & Hospitality (5%)
- Tech & Startups (4%)
If your industry isn’t listed, that doesn’t mean we can’t help. We’ve built sites for everything from beef ranches to performing arts centers. Tell us about your project.
Revisions andchanges.
Do you offer revisions, and how many are included?
Yes. We include two rounds of revisions at the mockup stage. This is where we fine-tune layout, colors, spacing, and content placement. Most clients are happy after the first round … our strategy and moodboard phases mean we’re aligned before the mockup even starts.
After the site is built and live, changes fall under your hosting plan’s support hours, or you can request changes at our hourly rate.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. All plans are month-to-month. No contracts and no cancellation fees. If you ever decide hosting with us isn’t a fit, let us know and we’ll help you migrate your site somewhere else.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan later?
Yes. You can move between Startup, Growth, and Prime any time. Most clients move up as their site (or their busy season) demands more support. Just reach out and we’ll switch your plan on the next billing cycle.
Looking forsupport?

Still havequestions?
We’d rather talk than type. Tell us about your project and we’ll take it from there.
